Short Breaks

Spring Healthcare works directly with disabled children or young people and their families, to support them with their needs.
We are passionate about making a life-changing, positive difference to the lives of disabled children and young people and their families. Everything we do places the child at the centre of our support. Following our ethos “Committed to making a positive impact in young people’s lives” our services then focus on providing care, which wraps around the child within their family.

The support we provide:

Spring Healthcare provides short breaks for disabled children and young people, supporting them to access a variety of activities, promoting independence, inclusion and learning, and engaging positive activities.
Whilst working in a person centred way, providing practical and emotional support to the child or young person, to enable them to meet the goals and outcomes identified in their support plan.
Short breaks are on a 1:1 basis in the community and in a child or young person’s home. This can be during the school holidays, evening and weekends.
An individual support plan is created before any care commences, to ensure our carers meet all of your requirements.
Our short breaks are designed around the child or young person and their interests and hobbies. During a short break session, we attend different activities such as:
  • Child swimming
  • Local park
  • Car drive
  • Picnic
  • Sensory play support session
  • Perhaps to the shops
  • Arts and crafts
  • Cooking sessions
  • Games
  • Sing along sessions
  • Befriending sessions
We cannot change a diagnosis and we cannot cure but we can, and we do, make a very real difference to the lives of families with a disabled child through high quality, practical and tailored services delivered by dedicated professional staff.
By choosing Spring Healthcare Limited, you’re safe in the knowledge that the support is fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
